@kayla-blayney nice find! I filled in classification for you this time, but in the future you can use the taxon wizard to complete this step. Only thing left for you to do before I mark this research grade is to add the lithostratigraphy and geochronology. For the former, write “Pungo River or Yorktown Formation”. For the latter, use the geochronology wizard to fill it into Neogene. If you are having trouble with the wizard, manually type in Neogene Period, Cenozoic Era, and Phanerozoic eon. Tag me when you finish so I can mark it research grade and let me know if you have any questions!
Mason, I am an amateur and I am very lost in classification and lithostratigraphy, I appreciate your help. I find this so fascinating yet I’m very inexperienced in this stuff.
