Well, knowing the creature’s age would help in my opinion, even though the equipment needed is expensive. To me, it looks like a broken off part of a big tooth, but I’m not sure about which kind of tooth it is.
@aggelos-mantos-3 I’m not sure what you mean by it being part of a larger tooth, it seems to be a whole shed tooth
I mean if memory serves, Hell creek only has 3 toothy theropod groups: Tyrannosaurs, Dromeosaurs, and troodontids. I don’t see the prominent serrations on the distal side I would expect out of a Troodontid, so its probably either Tyrannosaurus or Acheroraptor. Use this description to help compare to Acheroraptor http://www.thefossilforum.com/index.php?/topic/54726-how-to-identify-acheroraptor-teeth-from-the-hell-creek-formation/
@mason-hintermeister the tooth doesn’t seem to match up with archeroraptor very well with the images I’ve seen, leading me to believe its a tyrannosaur. in the research I’ve done though I’ve discovered two teeth that I own are likely archeroraptor
@the-rogue , I mean that it might be a fragment of a bigger tooth
