Could we have a photo of the whole bone?
@nate-fields this is a mammal long bone, given that it is the diaphysis (shaft), it is very difficult to identify. I suspect it may not be a fossil, you can check if there is collagen in it by holding a flame to it outside and see if there is black smoke or a smell like burning hair.
