      Is the subgenus Strombus and the subspecies brantleyi, @David-Hanes?

      I believe so.
      I am learning more about this phylum’s taxonomy, and sometimes have to defer to the research databases and their photos, to get the genus and species names. Please get someone there at UFL to confirm the taxonomic info.
      Regardless this specimen was found in Bergeron Star Pit quarry along with the other gastropoda that I just posted.
