2 years, 11 months ago2 years, 11 months agoMy son found these around the Casey Key area in Florida. They look different than our usual finds. Can anyone please tell me what kind of shark they came from?
I’m assuming they are different because theres a projection from the root. Its hard to tell if the root and crown are not in the same plane (flattened labio-lingually) since they’re so worn. Its possible they could be an angel shark in the genus Squatina, but @bill-heim is the acknowledged expert.
