1 year, 1 month ago1 year, 1 month agoThat area has Cretaceous and Pleistocene deposits, you can find fossils of plesiosaurs, mosasaurs, and more. I can’t say for sure what that jaw belongs to, but it’s an awesome find worth finding more about. You could compare it to other fossils found in the area or ask a local expert.

1 year, 2 months ago1 year, 2 months agoFalls creek rocks are from the Pennsylvanian period, called that because so many of the rocks from that age are in Pennsylvania. This is likely the carbonized remains of a prehistoric tree trunk, very nice find!
