Vertabrae but to what I don’t know

It does look like a vertebrae to me too; but also like the knuckle joints to the raptor like dinosaurs I’ve found before. It should stick to your tongue. And it is not well worn, look for more up hill from where you found that!

To me this looks more like a sedimentary structure such as a form of rain splash impressions or maybe a weird precipitation in a joint than a fossil but I could be totally wrong. Just a thought!
