Since its a new specimen it was named after myself…Mellita costabilei. You can see a photo of it in the book titled ‘Fossil Echinoids of Texas’ page 146A

4 years, 2 months ago4 years, 2 months agoHave a fossil bivalve that nobody can agree on what it is…Took it to Univ of Texas at Austin, Houston Museum of Natural Science, Forth Worth Museum, and Dallas Museum. Nobody can agree on what it is..but they all want me to donate it to them.
