1 year, 9 months ago1 year, 9 months ago@jennifer-gorzell no fossils here but it’s good things are catching your eye, that’s called pariedolia and it’s what makes humans natural-born fossil hunters! We are really good at seeing patterns, even if these patterns are pure coincidence!

1 year, 9 months ago1 year, 9 months ago@jennifer-gorzell actually not a piece of petrified wood or a septarian nodule (which have sharper cracks filled in rather than spheres) but some really cool chert (some would call it banded chert/flint). Nice!
