3 years, 11 months ago3 years, 11 months agoI bought this shell at a hobby store a while ago, but I’m unable to tell which specific type this is. It resembles something from the conus species of sea snails, but I’m not sure.

@noah-nowicki I’m pretty sure this is a shell from the Conus genus as well, but I’m not sure about the exact species.

3 years, 12 months ago3 years, 12 months agoInteresting, I just looked at some pictures of this type of coral and it seems to match. The rocks from the landscaping rock bed may have come from another place, but I’m not completely sure on where the rocks this was in cane from.

Hi @noah-nowicki you found this in Michigan? It may be a rugose coral rather than a rudist bivalve.
