Hi @Paula-Hunt, I believe this is a chert or a sandstone and not a fossil.

Imprint in fossilized shell or coral. MDEQ website has the most info available on the types of stuff your finding. I’ve hunted there for years and the state just doesn’t have extensive research on these areas.

Hi, @Paula-Hunt, I believe this is also a rock made of chert. Very cool find!

I have found a few like this in Pearl River County along the Wolf River. I believe it is a type of coral. The ones I have looked like footprints until cleaned. I’ll post pics of mine tomorrow and compare them. Almost all fossils found in that area are fossilized corals.;) hope this helps

I think this is probably a well worn rock and not a coral, but could someone check it out to make sure? @bill-heim @matthew-gramling?
Greetings @daniel-park et al.! I have to concur that this is just a river worn stone.
Hi, all, I agree with @Daniel-Park and @Matthew-Gramling here.
