The rust color indicates iron (rust) which is why it is magnetic. It is not a fossil

5 months ago5 months agoI found it in the rock garden Or a spot where they used to mention larger and river rock for the landscaping so I don’t even know where they came from I was in Columbia Missouri when I found it so I don’t know where they got the rock that they put down thank you though

It’s a rock of some sort. Possibly weathered granite with the harder minerals being less eroded giving it an unusual texture. Could also be another type of rock but it is not a fossil as far as I can see.
