Thank you! I’m pretty certain it is bone. There are some visible pores.
There are trees with spongey cores, but I agree this is most likely bone. too bad it’s broken as the preservation is gorgeous.
Im kind of starting to think its wood, its cool tho😀
Update: confirmed by a paleontologist at the Royal Tyrell Museum. This is a fragment of an ulna from an herbivorous dinosaur.
