An invitation from the Museum’s Teaching Committee–

Hi all,

As you know, we are holding an evening event for museum researchers and students on August 29th in Powell Hall, 5.30-8.30pm, as we did in Fall 2015.

1. As in 2015, we plan to have a single talk of no more than 3 minutes from each range, to summarize ongoing work in the range for the benefit of students and colleagues. Ranges with more than one curator need to designate one as speaker, and if none are available, please ask a collection manager or other suitable person to present the slide(s). Please confirm as soon as possible that you, or someone else, will be there to give the talk, so we can finalize the program.

1. Please forward the event announcement email to new students and staff, and anyone else (e.g., undergrads, high school students, long-term volunteers), who might not be on museum mailing lists.
