    Lots of plant material at Alum Bluff, one of the few plant fossil localities in Florida (material is 15 Ma). Most looks like this, identifiable stuff is hard to find. #fossil #collection_site

    I believe this is a fossilized sponge that was found in Lithia Springs, Florida. #fossil

    Edit: correction. It is probably a coral.

      …. That’s probably right. I can see a little star pattern in the holes, which probably means it isn’t a sponge.
