It may represent a type of matrix that could contain fossils, but I don’t see anything on its surface to suggest it contains any fossils.

3 years, 4 months ago3 years, 4 months agoGreetings @chris-knowles ! Your specimen looks more like a calcereous concretion than a fossil. Such conceptions are common in Wilcoc Group strata where you are collecting.
