These are very common at beaches, rocks that are eroded by the waves and have many holes. The color, weight, size, and shape all points to it being an eroded rock

I was going to say it was an eroded rock again until I looked at the hole in the middle. If it was a rock, the holes would only be on the outside. Also, they aren’t actually holes, but polyps that form a colony that makes up the coral. But there are polyps all inside, so it is a coral.
