The closest thing I could find is that it is an imprint of a crinoid column. Link: http://www.thefossilforum.com/index.php?/topic/73502-a-crinoid/

@jbauer might be able to help us narrow down the ID!

Oh… I mean I think crinoid is about as good as it gets for this one!

Hi @Matthew-Gramling! @ian-forsythe might be able to help with further ID, but we can begin by adding Kingdom -> Animalia, Phylum -> Echinodermata, Class -> Crinoidea

Thank you @samantha-ocon! I saw the app has been updated recently and I appreciate the new edition. I was wondering if any thought has been given to adding the geochronolgy and classification wizard features to the app?
-
I will talk to our developers about that, @Matthew-Gramling!

Hi, @Ethan-Chapman! eMuseum specimens can only contain one individual fossil, but I will happily leave this up in the “Eclectic Echinodermata” group.

I think these are also crinoid stems, @Colby-King. If you are interested, we can improve the data quality of this eMuseum specimen by working together to figure out how old it is and what geological layer it came from.

Hi @Matthew-Gramling! I love this crinoid assemblage! Unfortunately though, we can only have myFOSSIL eMuseum entries of a single individual. If you select a single fossil in this assemblage and use photo editing software to somehow point it out (like circling it or having an arrow) , we can keep this in the eMuseum.
Thanks,
Sam

Thank you, @Matthew-Gramling. These are fine as just posts to groups – just not eMuseum specimens. They’re really beautiful!

Aren’t all the long straight ones crinoids, or are they gastropods?
Yes, you are correct @a-trilobite are Crinoid stems. This rock is full of them so I’m hoping to uncover a complete Crinoid still intact (stem, calyx, arms and pinnules).
Oh, ok
