Bryzoan or scale tree, do you know the age of the rocks you found it in?
lower carboniferous (dinantian)
i was looking for age of stones you asking about, and i found only this
dublin beach
Greetings @aneta-hulist ! I have to concur with @a-trilobite with the potential scale tree ID. @mackenzie-smith might be able to comfirm.
i compered with photo on interne
bryozoan look the most familiar
@matthew-gramling @aneta-hulist I’m leaning more towards bryozoan. While there are Lepidodendron with hexagonal leaf bases it seems smaller than normal. I would also expect to see a xylem and parynchnos scar although those could just be covered by sediment.
