It does appear to be a jaw. Cleaning out the possible tooth root holes would be useful in visualizing it and potentially identifying it.

Slowly and carefully with a fine tipped dremel. Turn the speed down from max to keep it from skipping. Clean out the drill holes often to ensure that you stop when you hit bone.

I wouldn’t be so sure about that, I’ve never even heard of an egg implant fossil, especially since this looks like a granite stone and not something soft that could’ve been imprinted on by an egg. It’s probably just an odd erosion or formation pattern.
