3 years, 2 months ago3 years, 2 months agoI concur with @benjamin-devries lol. But, I would say this looks more osteopathic than dental. So, be sure to purchase the right coverage when insuring this fossil XD

3 years, 6 months ago3 years, 6 months ago@benjamin-devries in your second image l can now see the possible chamber sections, now l see why it might be a nautilus. the specimen is rather distorted, but you’re right, it is possibly a nautiloid.

3 years, 7 months ago3 years, 7 months agoGreetings @benjamin-devries ! I do not believe it is. It frankly looks like a stone from this photo. Adding a few more photos from other angles will help determine if it is beyond a doubt. And usually with a such a small specimen there is not enough diagnostic features to provide a precise ID.

3 years, 7 months ago3 years, 7 months agoGreetings @benjamin-devries ! I concur with @leonardo-miranda about add further images. At first glance, I see nothing suggesting it’s bone and certainly nothing I would class as diagnostic features to provide a specific ID

3 years, 7 months ago3 years, 7 months agoHi @benjamin-devries for appropriate and accurate ID, it is best if each individual specimen is uploaded on its own with a scale for reference! Once you do that, we can help you ID these to the best of our abilities! @smoran may be able to help!

3 years, 7 months ago3 years, 7 months agoHi @benjamin-devries this specimen looks quite worn, so I’m not sure how detailed an ID can be! @smoran might be of help!
