Jup I want to agree with you. It wants to look like a tusk of some kind like a wild pig or perhaps part of a walrus tooth. It would be worthwhile to take it to a museum near you.
-
@chris-knowles this is not a tooth, it appears to be limestone. It could be a natural concretion, but there is also a non-zero chance it is part of an infilled invertebrate burrow and is therefore a trace fossil

I wasn’t sure but I’ve learnt that fossils van have an orange colour where there is lots of iron. On the right if the first pic, just below the tyre it does look like a bit like bone ? The rest could a concretion or nodule, but they can sometimes form around bone. It certainly looks interesting.

Well I’m about to go out on a long, thin limb. Because I see what seems like lots layers could this be a coprolite? Can our intern clarify ? If it is one, you have one fine piece of doodoo there.
-
I love coprolites. I taught at a school where we found fossils on site for 38 years. I imported some dinopoo from Madagascar. My biggest fun is to place a piece in a child’s hand and then tell them what it is. Most people immediately try to smell it. Then a look of wonder. I love my petrocks.

That’s beautiful
much like septarian stone this looks like Ironstone, layered seimentary rock. Very cool when polished up.
