3 years, 1 month ago3 years, 1 month agoActually, “spiral” is not a species, but it does mean that this ammonite does not seem to be a heteromorph ammonite. Heteromorph ammonites have their shells twisted in all sorts of weird ways, while this one seems to have a normal spiral shape to it. Anyways, nice specimen!
