Amateur paleontologist and longtime volunteer at the Aurora Fossil Museum. I have made important fossil discoveries at the Lee Creek Mine in Aurora, NC, and co-authored publications about these finds with several professional paleontologists. I’ve donated over 5,000 specimens to various institutions, including the Smithsonian, the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, and the Aurora Fossil Museum. I am passionate about outreach; I regularly travel to local schools and colleges to speak about paleontology. I have around 15,000 fossils in my collection at my home museum.
